The Hohe Salve mountain
The Hohe Salve mountain, known among locals as “the Soiv”, is our local mountain and one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in all of Tyrol. The highest pilgrimage church in Austria at the summit is always worth a visit. The view up here is unique in summer as well as in winter: you can see the Wilder Kaiser, the Bavarian Alps, the Kitzbühel Alps, the Salzburg Steinberge, and the entire northern front of the Hohe Tauern mountain range with countless 3,000 m (~10,000 ft) peaks. The view spans from the Großglockner mountain to Lake Chiemsee.
